Dear God, I pray that you protect me – not from evil and not from your enemies, but rather from your followers.
Lord, please show your power in my life by keeping at bay those that sing your praises while they hide behind fear and ignorance to do work that harms others. The shadows and valleys that threaten me are not filled with devils, but rather those that call your name the most often.
God, I call upon you to protect me from those most sure of your wishes and determined to fill the world with lies they tell in your Name – while serving their own ignorance or thirst for power. Give me peace from your most fervent believers.
Dear God, allow me to walk with those with Your love in their hearts and in their hands. I know that I will recognize them by Your name being never on their lips.
